Free Music Classes – FMS Open Morning

We are thrilled to announce our second Fife Music School open morning at Windmill Community Campus on Saturday 23rd November featuring our fabulous free music classes for kids and adults!
We have a selection of free taster classes, which will give you an idea of what to expect from the regular weekly classes we will be rolling out in 2020.
Please feel free to just pop in and say hello too – we will be on hand to answer any questions and there will be some Nuvo instruments to try out including Recorder+, DooDs and TooTs.

Free Music Classes for Kids and Adults
Saturday 23rd November 9.30am-12.30pm
9.30-10am: Parent and Toddler Class
A 30-minute music class for parents and toddlers. Exploring music together through games, singing and movement. If your child is already up and moving about on their feet, this is the class for them!

10.15-10.45am: Parent and Baby Class
A 30-minute music class for parents and babies. Exploring music together through games, singing and movement. If your child is not yet up and about on their feet, this is the class for them!
11-11.30am: Recorder Class for 7-8 year-olds
A 30-minute class introducing the basics of playing the recorder, as well as important musical skills such as rhythm and beat. Using the brand new Nuvo Recorder+, they will learn as a group using simple tunes and games. Using the fun songs and activities from the brilliant Mosaic Music programme by Catherine Evison.
11.45-12.30: Fun Singing Session for Adults
A 45-minute choir session for adults aimed at developing musical skills such as pitch, rhythm and beat. A gentle introduction to singing in a group – no previous experience required. If you think you can’t sing, you are especially welcome – we will show you that you can! Come and have a great time with us and enjoy the well-being benefits of making music in a group.
